(More customer reviews)We bought this Offi Kip bed for our daughter as we really liked the design (although we do not like the high headboard and do not understand its purpose). We have various other products by Offi for our children. However, within less than a month the white frame of the bed was damaged, the color and splinters of wood came off just by a 4 year old child standing on the frame or bumping against it (this did not happen to any other of the furniture in our house which are climbed on or played with). The non painted transparent part of the frame is, for sure, Baltic Birch veneer over plywood and good quality, however, the white painted MDF part, is definetely not and very poor quality. As far as we can see, it is just cheap pressed wood (like most Ikea's furniture items without Ikea's prices!). This is very annoying and obviously, we are very upset in having spent that much money for such poor quality (and if known would have just gone for an Ikea bed). I would buy the bed again if the white painted frame would be plywood (and thus better quality) as the other part of the bed and as described by the Offi company in their item description. After all, we like the design and the products of the company. It is just a pity!
