(More customer reviews)I never realized that a blow up globe could be so nice. This globe is larger than I realized.I use it for lecturs on my Arctic, North Pole and Siberian Expeditions and Global Warming. It takes quite a few breaths to fill it up so I only let a little air out when I transport it.But it is fantastic for the kids to look at as I do my talks. It looks just great and it looks like the real earth without any clouds. The map of Siberia is not correct, but neither are any of my other hard shell globes.Even the map library at our local University doesn't have accurate maps, but strangely enough, Microsoft Flight Simulator does have accurate maps showing Khatanga, the city which has the famous Woolly Mammoth.
One review said that this globe was junk because the kids kicked it around a few times and it broke.Well, this product was not meant to be a beach ball, it is a globe for educational use and it is very good for this purpose.I highly recommend this.2005 North Pole Expedition Leader.C. Jeff Dyrek
