Being unable to shop in the local stores at the time of her birthday, I ordered this item online. I paid around 30.00 and later saw the item locally for a mere $12.00!! That is quite a big gap, and I feel a rip off for sure! Clearly, one must really know the prices before using this method for purchasing gifts, etc.

The bed has a nice feature in that you push a button and a second spring-loaded bunk bed pops up.However, Dora falls off the top bunk, because the bunk lowers from the added extra weight of the Dora figure.An adult has to carefully balance Dora on the top bunk for a young child.The other accessories include a teddy bear, night stand with attached lamp, rug, and chest.They are solid plastic and do not have any additonal features. My daughter likes the teddy bear best of all. The dollhouse is wonderful, and we do not regret purchasing this bedroom set for it.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for some sort of storage unit other than the typical toybox (which we already have).We also have the 12 bin pastel storage organizer, so I was looking for something that would match and go well with the other organizer, but not the same thing.I was a little hesitant to buy this because I couldn't find a single review on it, and I'm a huge stickler with reviews.I decided to go with it anyway because the picture was adorable, and looked like it would do the job.It comes with the two main side pieces, and then the other pieces that go into the main part.The storage compartments come exactly as pictured (one pink, yellow and blue) and are a fabric material. The one side has ABC and the other side has 123. It was super easy to put together (this is a female writing the review), and had it together in about 15-20 mins.The instructions were very easy to follow, and all the parts were there.Once it was put together, it was very sturdy, solid piece of furniture, and holds quite a bit of stuff for my daughter's playroom.I am very happy with my purchase, and glad I decided to go with the storage unit.

My daughter has the Plan Toys My First Dollhouse and the nursery is her favorite room.The included baby is just precious.My daughter loves to make her little girl doll take care of the included baby- feeding, changing, walking, and putting the baby to bed.The mobile on the crib is the perfect touch.My daughter is rough on the items but they are holding up beautifully!This is much sturdier than other leading brands (I also purchased some Melissa and Doug furniture which looks more realistic but is less sturdy).This Plan Toys Nursery is especially great for younger children. I looked at several other nursery sets before choosing this one and I'm so happy with it.It is truly perfect!

This toy is just very poorly made.For the way this thing was made, I think it should be about half the price.I'm very disappointed with the low quality crap Mattel puts out these days.Their toys are too overpriced for the quality.

(More customer reviews)I've had this high chair for a year now, and I love it.My daughter plays with it every day, and it's worn great.It still looks as good as the day we put it together.I love that it's wood, rather than cheap plastic, and it's a pretty white with pink gingham, which I think is adorable.The material has held up great and still looks perfect.The wood is sturdy, with no cracks.It fits all my daughter's dolls, including her large Cabbage Patch doll.If I were going to change anything, I'd like a little bar in the front of the seat that would prevent the babies from slipping through (like real high chairs).For the most part, her babies stay put, but sometimes they slip down and out.It's not a big problem, though.Our friends bought the same one a year ago for their daughter, and feel the same way about it.We love the Badger Basket product line!I highly recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)I bought this kit September 2009.Had no difficulty putting it together, but I have a great deal of experience assembling dollhouses and dollhouse furniture in various scales.
One point of "buyer beware" -- this is not 1/4 scale (as in 1 foot is equal to one quarter inch).According to my ruler this kit makes up into a bathtub, sink and toilet that correspond to 1:12 scale.
Even so, it's a nice little kit if you like tinkering with things and enjoy working with your hands.Naturally, I could not leave it "as is," I had to fancy it up with wood stain and appliques.Looks cute and nearly "real" and should be great in a Victorian dollhouse or Victorian room setting. I'm impressed that the pieces are made of a fairly good quality wood and that the pieces went together as they should.
This is also more of a collector's piece than something to hand to a child.It is likely that this is a bit to fragile for a child to handle unless the child very, very gentle. If you're considering this for a young child, you might be happier with plastic furniture rather than this kit.

(More customer reviews)A short video review.Definitely read the description and other reviews carefully before buying.Lipper fully discloses the size of the table as well as the seat height to the table height.Some reviewers said their 2-3 year olds like the table, but I see this as more of a child's set than a toddler set.We had to go through two sets as the first set came incomplete and badly packaged, along with damage to the corner of the tabletop.It almost looked like someone returned it, and it was reshipped either by Amazon or Lipper.In this video, you'll see some issues we had with what we thought was pretty poor quality (drilling a hole, then redrilling and covering up the initial mistake), a slight wobble (annoying to the anal like my husband!) and differences in chairs in case you are considering buying additional chairs.I hope this helps!Overall, the product I'd rate 3 stars, but quality control seems poor enough to rate it two stars - not fun for your frustration level if you get a bad set - and BOTH our sets had issues.

(More customer reviews)Our daughter got a dollhouse for her second birthday, and I recently bought this set of kitchen furnishings for to go with it.It's one of two or three mass market dollhouse kitchen sets available.

Our daughter had quite a bit of fun playing with it.The stove top, which makes quite realistic boiling or tea kettle whistling sounds when pressed, was a special hit.It's also nice that the oven and dishwasher doors open, though the refrigerator has only a single door encompassing both the freezer and refrigerator secsions, rather than separate doors as appearances would suggest.

The pieces are made of sturdy plastic, helping to minimize breakage.The refrigerator door did pop out at one point, but was easily popped back into place.The styling is a bit unusual, but you can decide from the pictures whether you like it before you buy.

Overall this is quite a reasonable toy to go with a standard 1/12 scale dollhouse.
